Multi-instrumentalist and producer Salt House Lavish has released one album and three EPs within the last two years. Before COVID and the lockdowns, the artist from Durham County has also toured and played with plenty of other musicians and producers. Currently, Salt House Lavish is working on their second full-length album which shall be out later in 2021. As a pretaste, the single "Alley Cat" gives us a first impression on what to expect from "Fraternise-Collaborate".
Salt House Lavish works with samples and thereby creates thrilling electronic music. In the case of "Alley Cat", a bass-driven mix of EDM, Alternative Pop, some breakbeats, and a certain Alternative Rock atmosphere makes the audience's body move. It is a colourful mix that creates flickering lights and a psychedelic air, ready for basement clubs and open air festivals.
