is the debut single by Salt Lake City’s Iliad Korin Gonzalez. The

“MagmaDiver” has been written,
composed, and produced by Iliad Korin Gonzalez himself who also presents
his amazing skills on the guitar and recorded majority of the drums in the song.
Further musicians featured on this debut are Hugo Lee (saxophone), Joe
Calderone (bass), and Joey Bullock (additional drums and piano).

debut single is a stunning fusion of instrumental Prog Rock, Symphonic Prog,
Jazz, and Funk. The soundscape spirals through several eras of artistic music, tying
Baroque and Classical elements to Jazz, and spreading them on a sonic carpet of
Funk. The way this impressive work is arranged and executed adds the artistic
atmosphere of 1970s Progressive Rock which works as the solid scaffolding of “MagmaDiver”.
Iliad Korin Gonzalez and his fellow musicians make their audience explore
the hottest spot of a sonic volcano, and hence the music is a thrilling dive through
magma.
