In 2019, Arthur left both, his band Low Relief, and his former hometown. The musician moved to Bordeaux and also started to work on his first solo album which has now been released. Voilà, here is the debut of Golden Seams with the name "Sublimons les Blessures" (French: "Sublimate the Wounds").

The melodic and emotional Punk or Indie sound reminds of the early Post-Millenium years. Different to many Emopunk or Emocore artists, Golden Seams prefers anthemic and soulful soundscapes over harsh Hardcore breaks or metallic beatdowns. Arthur receives further support on his solo debut by Alexis Sebastian (drums), Clément Pequin (backing vocals), and Léa Dixneuf (vocals in 'From great Heights to Nose Dive').

"Sublimons les Blessures" is defined by brisk tempi, heartful melodies and soulful but strong vocals. Golden Seams' debut is a release full of Emopunk anthems. For my personal taste, it could have used some more weight or heaviness, but nevertheless, this one might go great on the dancefloors of Emo- and Punk Rock parties.
