Electronica and House especially are often hard to grasp for me. But as every music lover with an open mind and two open ears, I know that gems are to be found in areas where you don't predominantly look for them. One of those opalescent discoveries is the new EP "Ordinary Things & Other Problems" by Joe Lewandowski. So put on your dancing shoes and some fluorescent clothes because we are about to thit the Dark Disco.

Joe Lewandowski invites us on a psychedelic dance trip. With steady motion our feet are guided alongside dark walls and towards a never-ending calleidoscope of boppy colours and mesmerizing images. "Ordinary Things & Other Problems" combines the sonic experience of 80s Electronica and French House with gloomy tunes of Post Punk and Darkwave.

As dark as the sounds are, they nevertheless do not create claustrophobia. Instead, Joe Lewandowski puts us into the comfortable setting of a small but chic night club. Close your eyes, move to the beat, and you can taste the soft drinks handed out at the nearby bar.
