There are those magical moments when you see that something is about to fail. And then there are those even more special occasions when you immediately realize that this mistake is going to happen again. The lastest single 'I bet' by Bare Beets deals with this exact phenomenon. Bare Beets, by the way, are a real family band like Berlin's Die Scholtys.


On the selftitled debut EP which was released earlier this year, Bare Beets joyfully mixed Rock, Pop, and Electronica. The latest single though goes in a slightly different direction (although the opening contains strong Dream Pop vibes). Inspired by the Foo Fighters, the Australian band has hereby created a moving Alternative Rock anthem that embraces the Millenium era Post Grunge sound. Boppy, dynamic, and yet gloomy the atmosphere spreads across the narrative of repeated mistakes. Extra energy is provided by the funky bass.
