Kutiman is a resident of Tze'Elim (צֶאֱלִים), a kibbutz in the Israeli Negev desert. The environment Kutiman is surrounded by, might be one of the most magical and inspirational spaces for psychedelic and meditative arts. Thus, it is no big surprise that the artist's latest single is a fantastic sonic journey, rich in colours and deep emotions.

The A-Side of this single 'Guruji' is defined by a boiling hot sitar theme that floats over a steady but gentle tabla rhythm. Half way through the track, synthies, bass, and claps invite the audience to a joyful dance that makes you want to embrace Earth and Heaven simultaneously. Drones and an Afrobeat-like rhythm support this psychedelic sonic journey which climaxes in pure ecstasy.

The B-Side 'Majan' feels like the Dub-version of 'Gurji'. Themes and soundscapes remind of the A-Side a lot. But this one sounds like the echo or the afterparty to 'Guruji'. With more relaxed tabla rhythms and deeper musical elements, Kutiman hereby re-establishes the theme of 'Gujuri' in a more chill way without losing the theme's impressively psychedelic potential.
