Dublin's Keeley Moss is the author of The Keeley Chronicles, an influential blog that is dedicated to the story of Munich's backpacker Inga-Maria Hauser who got murdered in Northern Ireland in 1988 where she was travelling. True Crime fans will be deeply satisfied by the elaborate processing and workup done by Keeley Moss. This summer, the Irish artist has also released a four-song EP dedicated to the same subject. Together with Alan Maguire (keyboards and programming), Keeley Moss has created a sonic tribute to Inga-Marie Hauser, the "Brave Warrior".

The EP begins with the dynamic Indie Rock and Post Punk song 'The Glitter and the Glue' (see video above) and thereby introduces the listeners to the story of "Brave Warrior" Inga-Maria. From there on, the soundscapes become darker, psychedelic sounds increase, and a dreamy atmosphere broadens. Second track 'Last Words' is a hypnotizing musical journey back to the late 1980s. Going on to 'Never here always there', the Dream Pop, Shoegaze, and Post Punk sounds become gloomier and more gentle. The story of Inga-Maria is colourfully told while the golden line can clearly be spotted, both in the lyrics and music-wise. In the course of the EP, Keeley starts off with energetic and intense sounds that gradually move towards the soothing LoFi vibes of final song 'You never made it that far'. Thus, exciting story-telling, True Crime, and perfect setting are combined to a wholesome and thrilling work.
