The coronacene is a challening era for all of us. Well, some people actually manage to make profit out of this. Alongside capitalists who benefit from the misery, it is conspiracy theorists who experience the blossom of their weird ideas of NWO, reptiloids, adenochrome, or other BS.
Nevertheless, these are not easy. And being locked down, keeping distance to our loved ones, and other effects of the pandemic truly suck. The latest single 'Patience' by Sydney's Avresa is a call to everyone to keep patient, because this damn virus is still vey active. Jeremy Binger also concerns hasty openings, such as the Australian gouvernment enforced them, as well as the impatience that is omnipresent among people who want to go back to normal life.

Driven by an atmospheric Post Punk riff, Avresa's 'Patience' leads into a colourful Indie Rock bridge until it climaxes in an anthemic chorus that invites you to sing along to. The backing vocals especially provide goose bumps here, and the piano part after the second chorus even intensifies this effect.
'Patience' is a beautiful combination of the music from the last pre-apocalypse era (1980s) and Post-Col War Indie Rock.

Music from every post will stay in the MangoRotation playlist for 14 days.
