Sixteen months after the release of their selftitled debut, Nuremberg's The Elephant Circus are back with their sophomore album "Prophets of Bliss". The eleven-track release is available via domestic label Gänseblümchen Tonträger (German: Daisy Records) and contains a dynamic collection of songs that go far beyond the borders of Americana and Folk - New Frontier music, so to speak.

"Prophets of Bliss" is defined by harmonic soundscapes that derive from Americana, Funk, Folk Rock, and Surf Rock. The Franconia trio plays energetic and moving songs coined by dynamic funky rhythms, riffs hot like (American) desert sand, and an atmosphere that resembles the air of a hot day at the coast. Hence, the album is a perfect fit for the ride to the skatepark, the lake, or the shore with the car windows open so you can feel the airstream.

The Elephant Circus has hereby released an album without a single blackout. Each of the eleven tracks is a catchy tune, and together they form a versatile album full of motion, emotion, and sunshine.
