Disoveries of the Week: 21 April - 27 April 2021

This week, the Discoveries of the Week lack the typical picture in the header. Reason is, my laptop's power cable broke, and while I'm waiting for the new one to arrive, I don't have access to my regular publishing tool. Hope, it's gonna be back to normal soon.
As always, you'll find the whole playlist at the post's bottom.

Peak Futures feat. Joe Bernie - Orion
Alternative Rock - London, England
Somewhere between Soul, Psychedelia, and Alternative Rock, this single from Peak Futures' upcoming album invites us to an interstellar journey. The sonic exploration leads us to the Orion constellation and increases the hype for the upcoming longplayer "Colour of the Sun".

Heavy Mama - Devil on my Shoulder (2021 Mix)
Blues Rock - Glasgow, Scotland
This song is the debut by Glasgow's Blues Rock trio Heavy Mama. Introducing themselves, the band shos us what to expect from them in the future: Heavy Blues Rock, a psychedelic atmosphere, and a powerful tribute to the 1970s. "Devil on my Shoulder" has become Heavy Mama's flagship and has now been re-released in the fresh 2021 mix.

Temperature Falls - Death by Suffocation
Alternative Rock - Oslo, Norway
"Death by Suffocation" is driven by a massive bass, energetic Trop Hop elements, and the powerful and yet catchy Alternative Rock sound by Temperature Falls. On this stunning soundscape, vocalist Camilla concerns the destructive energy of dependence and addiction, and how they can suffocate sensual berings.

Georgie Fisher - The Queen
Indie Pop / Soul - Berlin, Germany
This soulful single is a powerful anthem of female empowerment. Georgie Fisher creates a smooth and yet intense narrative of a woman reflecting on her life in regret and disappointment. Hence, she writes her own parallel story - a selfempowering fiction in which the protagonist is queen. The song is the great finale of four singles in which Indie Soul artist Georgie Fisher dealt with topics such as homelessness and empowerment of marginalised groups:

Ruiz! - Blue Mediterranean
Post Punk / Indie Rock - Sheffield, England
Similar to Georgie Fisher's narrative, Ruiz!'s third single concerns the safe space you can create within your mind. The song which will be featured on the upcoming album by Ruiz! creates the reverie of a gorgeous spot far away from stress and struggle - the beautiful blue of the Mediterranean Sea. Driven by boppy Indie Rock and soulful Post Punk, this sonic paradise is built.

RALEŸELL - Dysphoria
Indie Pop - Toronto, Canada
When you lack satisfaction with your life an thus become super sensitive emotionally, you might struggle with dysphoria. RALEŸELL's song is a gentle and soothing way of musicking this serious topic. On colourful 1990s Dance and Pop rhythms, the artists creates a empowering soundscape that helps the listeners to break free from their inner conflicts.

Radio Aftermath - Estranged
Alternative Rock - Leeds, England

Lesoir - Two Faces
Prog Rock / Alternative Rock - Maastricht, Netherlands

Big Timber - Young
Indie Rock - Portland, Oregon, USA

MayQueen - Worst Nightmare

  1. Consistent hydration and abundant vitamins and minerals found in lemons promote urination. Together lemon and water work as diuretics and increase the urine output. Lemon juice and water are naturally acidic mixture that offers substantial cleansing. It encourages your liver to flush all the toxins. There is no set dosage for the amount of citrus or water you need to mix to make this drink.31-AM-600x201
