"Recovery: Level II" is the sophomore album by Cape Cod's Allie Jason. The seven-track release follows 2020's "Recovery: Level 1", and before you start moaning about the debut being written in Arabic numerals, and the sophomore album being written in Latin numerals, better enjoy the way the "II" is realised on the album cover.
"Recovery: Level II" is a very emotional album. Like its predecessor, the album concerns the pandemic's effects on people's mental health. Thus, Allie Jason has created an album expressing the issues of a free mind trying to cope with isolation. By the way, the whole album has been produced with the GarageBand app on the artist's iPhone 8.

Allie Jason's sophomore release is a 24-minute collection of artistic and dark Pop songs. Influences from different genres can be spotted on the album. 'F*ck Off', for example has a strong Post Punk vibe, while 'Intermission' reminds of a modern-day Chanson, and 'A A' could also fit a Trap Hip Hop playlist. Despite the versatility in moods and styles, "Recovery: Level II" appears very coherent which is mostly due to Allie Jason's stunning vocals that keep the golden line of the narrative going.
