These days, we often talk about how the pandemic and the lockdown(s) have changed human interaction, and how isolation, loneliness, and desperation have increased amongst people. And it is abolutely comprehensible to do so. Nevertheless, there is a thing that is often forgotten. Disconnection between human beings and isolation have been there before, too - it was just overlooked.
In her latest single, Leeds' Clare Kelly concerns the pre-lockdown situation of many people in agglomerations - the crippling feeling of being alone in the masses.

Together with guest musicians Heledd Owen (drums and backing vocals) and Abi Sinclair (bass and backing vocals), Clare Kelly has created a deeply emotional and warming Folk Rock track. While the verses are defined by rainy-day Alternative Rock riffs, the bridge ("human, human") feels like sun rays creeping through dark clouds, and the chorus is full of heart-warming solar power. Despite its thick melancholy, Clare Kelly's "No one is looking at you" is an empowering reminder to be open-minded, social, and humane.
"Turn your head towards me, human. You are not invisible"!
