Bones in Butter are a band from the white city, Serbian capital Belgrade, led by Milutin Krašević. On the latest single, composed and written by Krašević, he also recorded vocals and synthies. Further musicians on "Her Cave" are Luna Škopelja (vocals), Pavle Popov (guitars and effects), Damjan Kapor (bass), Dima Faustov (saxophone), and Marcelo Effori (drums).
"Her Cave" is a dark song about desire, passion, and the yearning for feeling to be alive. It is a melancholic, melodramatic love song referring to the current era of lockdowns and restrictions.
Sensual New Wave and Post Rock create an atmosphere of unfulfilled desire for romance and vicinity to someone else. The ethereal vocals by Luna Škopelja beautifully grind on Milutin Krašević' sonorous narrative and hence are a guarantee for goosebumps. In the second half of the shoegazy reverie, the saxophone enters the stage and raises the artistic melodrama to the next level.
