Jenyr Ramma (drums, percussions) and Michael David Henry (bass, vocals) are Beatnik Party. The duo from Arizonan Pinal County has recorded a song that literally deals with never having been to NJ. The title track of the single "Pyramid Song" is a trippy sonic narrative about staying at home, evaluating the quality of drugs online and thus, never visiting the Garden State. On Bandcamp, the single also contains a B-Side "Satan don't want me for no Love Toy".

Apparently, the recording was undertaken under the influence of psychedelic shrooms. Far more interesting is the fact what Beatnik Party did not use for the song: a guitar.
The result of this lo-fi production is a fuzzy, psychedelic, and thrilling Post Punk banger. The atmosphere of the "Pyramid Song" feels like diving through an endless tunnel maze inside an unexplored pyramid. Where this journey might go, one can only assume or just let oneself go with the hallucinogetic flow. Where it does not go to, is to New Jersey.
