"Listen to the Wind" is the debut EP by singer and songwriter Gill Guillermo. It is an EP about travel, about searching for a place to strike roots, about the emotions and feelings that are connected to migrating and finding one's destination. Gill Guillermo describes the process of him leaving his home town Haifa and settling over to Liverpool. On this journey, the artist has looked for a new musical environment, and a new haven where he can expand from musically. It is thus a very personal, emotional, and soulful release.

The music on "Listen to the Wind" can, on the surface, be described as a mix of Indie Folk and Blues Rock. The opening track 'Rain' especially is a powerful Acoustic Blues Rock anthem. In the pre-chorus, this song has a slight similarity to Santa Esmeralda's 'Please don't let me be misunderstood', by the way.
Gill Guillermo's debut EP is an emotionally intense work that musicks feelings of passion, expectation, wanderlust, homesickness, and the search for one's own destiny. Gill Guillermo has produced beautiful arrangements for his soulful music, and thus "Listen to the Wind" has become an absoluetly beautiful sonic reverie - dreamy, emotional, positive, harmonic.
