The Fall of the Ziggurat - Pride
Release Date: May 28, 2021
Length: 02:28
Genre: Alternative Rock / Synth Rock
Origin: Brighton, England

"Pride" is the very first official output by Brighton's The Fall of the Ziggurat. Thus, be introduced to Russ Plowman (drums), Mike Garrett (computers, synths, guitars), Dave Rhodes (bass), and Lou Gravett (vocals).
For their debut, The Fall of the Ziggurat provide us with a positive message and an appeal to more selfcare. The pandemic has emphasized a lot of negativity and it sometimes is not easy looking past the bad aspects of our new reality. The Fall of the Ziggurat's "Pride" calls for rediscovering pride in ourselves and reinventing our self-confidence.

Music-wise, the band creates a futuristic Alternative Rock sound. Intense synthesizer leads shoot ovver the powerful guitar riffs, and the massive rhythms created by bass and drums. As the mistress of ceremony, vocalist Lou Gravett hovers above this colourful soundscape, spreading her positive word at high pace, with vast velocity,  and with great force.
This might be the future of rock music, and I will gladly embrace it. Also, as a personal tip: The Fall of the Ziggurat go perfectly in a playlist together TUFF TURF.
