More than six have passed since Napolitan quintet Barnum's Freak have released their last album "Revolution Loading". This year, a new work will be published, and the single 'Darkness between the Light' is the first of omen of what we are about to expect from the upcoming release.

"Darkness between the Light" is a colourful and versatile display of intelligent rock music. Seemlessly Barnum's Freak let Retro Prog, Progressive Post Rock, and a bit of Zeuhl merge and thereby create a beautiful soundscape. Tempo, metre, and moods change in a lightfooted manner and therefore make the sophisticated sound of "Darkness between the Light" appear very easy to the hearing. Barnum's Freak have hereby produced a wholesome piece of music not only for the proggers.
