Following their recent album "Alchemical Task" (October 2020), Portland's Psychwave duo Lore City will release their fourth full-length "Participation Mystique" on July 23, 2021. The nine-track release will be available on vinyl and as a digital album and can already be pre-ordered via the band's Bandcamp profile.
The first ex ante single "I know you know" can be streamed since May 26, and it is a beautiful introduction to the psychedelic gloomy reverie, "Particpation Mystique" is about to contain.

Dream Pop and Wave sounds darker than the night grind on a cold Post Rock atmosphere, as Laura Mariposa Williams (vocals, keys) and Eric Angelo Bessel (percussions, keys, guitars) create a massively psychedelic soundscape. As an appetizer for the upcoming album, the single raises hope for a gigantic work of dark and atmospheric sonic arts. Air and mood of this track somewhat resemble the sounds of British Psych Proggers Goldray. Yet, with their mix of Darkwave, Post Rock and Psychedelia, Lore City have created their vvery own sound.
