And now, something completely different, or:
Wouldn't it be nice if the police had cooked asparagus instead of tonfas, tazers, and guns?
Labour Day 2021 was the release date of the third The Mountain King release in 2021 alone. After the artist from Rhineland-Palatia has recently provided us with Space Doom, and Black Metal, this eight-track album is the most electronic release by Eric McQueen since "Super Dead Isle 2".
The limited special edition of this CD comes with an (empty) molotov cocktail and a USB drive by the way. You might want to have one of those 10 pieces.
"C.A.O.S.D." is an instrumental albu except for the voice samples of the skits. The music is defined by minimalist but atmospheric electronic sounds. Glitch noises add to the dynamics of this EDM- or Ninendocore-like soundscape and add a certain Punk Rock attitude to the synthetic sounds.
This album tastes like burning streets and tear gas. On "C.A.O.S.D.", The Mountain King has musicked the tension and the energy of roadblocks and the heat of a molotov cocktail.
