Jonathan Williams (drums), Chris Noir (guitar, vocals), and Katie Skilton (vocals) from Abertwae (Swansea) are Zed Motel. The Welsh trio plays butt-moving Garage and Indie Rock with a certain Alternative Rock impact. Recently, their first EP "Leave With Nothing" was released.

"Leave With Nothing" is a six-track release coined by fuzzy and heavy riffing, energetic rhythms, and colourful harmonies. The latter are due to Chris accompanying Katie's vocals frequently. The two singers harmonize gorgeously an thus create a thrilling and sonorous sound.
Apart from the vocals, Zed Motel's debut EP is defined by various and dynamic soundscapes. This is Garage and Indie Rock for the dancefloors - but with attitude! Sound-wise, you can draw parallels to The White Stripes or Art Brut. Personally, I draw comparisons to Cologne's psychedelic Indie Rockers Gong Wah, or Würzburg's Post Punk duo The Good Hex.

The Welsh trio has released a powerful, harmonic, and dynamic EP. "Leave With Nothing" is boppy, fuzzy and heavy simultaneously.
